The inspiration for developing (Vegena Pure Green) came when my wife became ill and adopted a vegetable-centered diet (a vegetarian lifestyle avoiding meat, fish, and animal-based broth) to improve her health. To support her, I decided to also become vegetarian, and thus began cooking entirely with plant-based ingredients.

The “five pungent vegetables” refer to five types: onions, garlic, chives, Chinese onion (rakkyo), and shallot (different from today’s common shallot, but includes shallots).
This product does not contain any of the above five pungent vegetables.

Yukichi Fukui
For 28 years, served as executive chef and specialty product developer at a crab specialty restaurant in Iwami Town, Tottori Prefecture.
From 1999, developed the world’s first “smoked crab,” sold at ANA and JAL airport shops nationwide.
From 2009, worked as a Tottori Prefecture regional industry producer, engaging in product development and guidance.
From 2010, worked as a food development consultant, guiding product development for tourist sites and companies.
From 2012, offered a self-developed beauty collagen soup product on izakaya menus.
Currently, as a vegetarian himself, serves as the representative of “Pure Vegetarian,” developing products for vegans and vegetarians.
With visually striking dishes and creative izakaya menus tailored to each restaurant, his culinary creations, born from extensive experience, have won broad support from vegans, vegetarians, and general customers alike.
His full-course crab meal, produced by Fukui, was selected in a nationwide recruitment of projects by Nippon TV’s “Zoom In Super” among 3,000 public inns, broadcast nationwide as the best of 3,000 inns.
He holds a patent for the world’s first “smoked crab” and has received numerous national awards. Media coverage has been countless. The late Kai Atō, well known from television programs, also served as the image character “Kanikun.”
